MARC AMENDOLA's MUSICAL JOURNEY

Marc picked up his first guitar at the age of 9.  He knew he wanted to keep playing after his first big audition with the Red Hot Chili Peppers at age 19.  Shortly after in the band Spoonfist, he found success with a song he wrote called "Sailing On" while earning two music degrees from the University of New Haven in West Haven, CT.  Since then, he's been in numerous bands with most of his touring time spent with Gargantua Soul & Coretez.  Currently Marc fronts Fear The State, and plays guitar in Kiss Of Death,1 Wild Night, Fistful of Steel, Simply Diamond & One Stop Pony Band among other acts.  He has performed at Woodstock '99, had music on ESPN's X-Games, won the John Lennon Songwriting Contest and received honorable mention in Billboard. The Hard Rock Cafe called his original band, Gargantua Soul, "the best unsigned band in the world," and a Fear The State sticker can be found right in the middle of the NYC Hard Rock Cafe's CBGB  display.  Marc is honored to be associated with such a great force in live underground music.  By day, he  teaches guitar and records with many artists at his studio AudioHotel Recording (www.audiohotel.com) in Orange, CT (203) 589-5033.  Marc was also fortunate to play in Clint Lowery's Hello Demons Meet Skeletons first tour.  Marc's been in a movie with Gene Simmons, Glenn Quinn and James Franco (a VH1 production called At Any Cost) and has also written music for ESPN, Guess Watches, Macromedia/Adobe video games & Harper Collins book writer Emma Seppala.  Visit Marc online at marcamendola.com, audiohotel.com , guitaroogle.com and follow him @marcamendola on Instagram and on FB.
